Edelmiro Quinten had in the 11thth minute some difficulties stopping Ahmet Nasir Koytak's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Cafer Osmanoğulları recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arif Buğra Berksan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. İbrahim Efe Çelikoz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Edelmiro Quinten made a huge save. The supporters of ŞANLI GÖZTEPE 1925 booed when 1930 Bafraspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kamuran Okyay didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see ŞANLI GÖZTEPE 1925's Ahmet İlke Özay in action when he in the 44th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Ahmet İlke Özay came free in the 46th minute and tried to tip the ball over Rasim Hürmetli, but to the joy of 1930 Bafraspor's supporters the ball went over.

The wind increased when Ahmet İlhan Avcı made the kick off in the second half. Kamuran Okyay hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Arif Buğra Berksan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rasim Hürmetli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Buğra Berksan in the 56th minute of the match. 1930 Bafraspor's Cafer Osmanoğulları got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ahmet İlhan Avcı scored 1-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edelmiro Quinten, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ahmet İlke Özay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rasim Hürmetli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Buğra Berksan in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, İbrahim Efe Çelikoz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1930 Bafraspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 76th minute, Arif Buğra Berksan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edelmiro Quinten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet İlhan Avcı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ŞANLI GÖZTEPE 1925's Edelmiro Quinten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet İlhan Avcı in the 82nd minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the ŞANLI GÖZTEPE 1925 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for 1930 Bafraspor.
