Besim Özge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İzzettin Ekici in the 8th minute of the match. VAKFIKEBİR FK's 武树然 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save VAKFIKEBİR FK from getting a goal against them. 15 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goal looked a bit too open when Demiralp Tuğra came free, but Besim Özge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mesut Özengin struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. 武树然 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GALATASARAY. Mesut Özengin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but 武树然 made a huge save. When Ali Çağrı Rıfat fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GALATASARAY's protests and gave Ali Çağrı Rıfat a yellow card for diving instead. If Mesut Özengin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mesut Özengin in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 武树然 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ali Çağrı Rıfat kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Besim Özge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demiralp Tuğra in the 76th minute of play. Erol Temren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. 武树然 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Besim Özge made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when İzzettin Ekici sent off a good shot on target. If İzzettin Ekici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
