Fatih Balısoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cihat Arslangiray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Delice FK booed when Fenerbahçe SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cemil Korur didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Asım Eriş got free with İzzettin Turgut in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gaffar Başeski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gaffar Başeski's late challenge caught a Fenerbahçe SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaffar Başeski helped the player get up and apologised. Gaffar Başeski hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Aybek Derem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24thth minute of the game Cihat Arslangiray who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Delice FK's Fatih Balısoy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hasan Tahsin Demirkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Fatih Balısoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaffar Başeski was extremely unlucky when he, in the 32nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Cihat Arslangiray in the 54th minute of play forced Delice FK's goalkeeper Fatih Balısoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fatih Balısoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remzi Zeki in the 61st minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Delice FK's goal looked a bit too open when Cihat Arslangiray came free, but Fatih Balısoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Delice FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cihat Arslangiray fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 78th minute of the match Hayrettin Ateş shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fatih Balısoy showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Cihat Arslangiray managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fenerbahçe SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Cihat Arslangiray was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fatih Balısoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute of the match Baran Ulaç sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but İzzettin Turgut skillfully saved the ball. Fatih Balısoy made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Hasan Tahsin Demirkan sent off a good shot on target. After 88 played minutes Delice FK got a freekick which was hit by Aybek Derem. If Cihat Arslangiray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Gürkan Özçevik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
