Özcan Eryavuz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şimşek Bilen having to interfere. Şimşek Bilen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yıldırım Erakalın, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the match, ORDUSPOR's goalkeeper Berkin Erginay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nizam Ceyhan. In the 47th minute, Yıldırım Erakalın got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yıldırım Erakalın stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in ORDUSPOR's zone, Nizam Ceyhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berkin Erginay came out of the goal and Nizam Ceyhan tried to chip the ball over his head. ORDUSPOR's Berkin Erginay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muhsin Tuncel in the 54th minute of play. When ORDUSPOR's Yıldırım Erakalın in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Elbeyli's goalie prevented a goal. Şimşek Bilen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Özcan Eryavuz in the 69th minute. Aktuğ Totuk charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aktuğ Totuk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to ORDUSPOR getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Şimşek Bilen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yıldırım Erakalın in the 77th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 80th minute by Özcan Eryavuz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Özcan Eryavuz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elbeyli's Şimşek Bilen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yıldırım Erakalın in the 86th minute of play. Şimşek Bilen made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Özcan Eryavuz sent off a good shot on target. 92 minutes into the match, Elbeyli's goal looked a bit too open when Yıldırım Erakalın came free, but Şimşek Bilen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rüstem Mümin kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. When Muhsin Tuncel, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 94 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Berkin Erginay was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Özcan Eryavuz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Elbeyli fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ORDUSPOR were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
