The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Devlet Muhteşem stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hayrettin Keskin's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Birant Kazakhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cihangir Timurcan having to interfere. Sezai Kayacan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Devlet Muhteşem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Domane Dersim's goal looked a bit too open when Melentije Borić came free, but Devlet Muhteşem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Kizilcahamam's Hayrettin Keskin in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mehmet Bedri Ökten to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Birant Kazakhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Domane Dersim's supporters rose to their feet, but Birant Kazakhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 64 played minutes Domane Dersim got a freekick which was hit by Tuncer Sefa. In the 73rd minute of the match, Sezai Kayacan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Devlet Muhteşem saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
