Nurtekin Uzbay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mustafa Haydar Maruf read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in fc urganlı's zone, Zülfü Ünsever stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Seyhan Derinöz came out of the goal and Zülfü Ünsever tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Boztepe FK! In the 41st minute of the match Levent Batır sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Seyhan Derinöz skillfully saved the ball. Ümit Koçarslan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Seyhan Derinöz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 47 minutes, Nurtekin Uzbay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. fc urganlı's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nurtekin Uzbay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zülfü Ünsever was the one to do the kick off. Zülfü Ünsever did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-1 to the left of a surprised Seyhan Derinöz 54 minutes into the match. Mustafa Haydar Maruf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nurtekin Uzbay in the 59th minute of the match. Mustafa Haydar Maruf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arkın Uygan, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. A collision led to Boztepe FK getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Arkın Kayan hit a great ball. In the 68th minute Arkın Uygan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Haydar Maruf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ümit Koçarslan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ümit Koçarslan struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Seyhan Derinöz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boztepe FK. There was no doubt that fc urganlı were the better team. fc urganlı's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
