The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Yaser Nesim made the kick off in the second half. Ali Berkant Ağcabey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zülfü Ünsever in the 54th minute of play. Abdurrahman Tümerkan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ali Berkant Ağcabey. Gümüşhane Spor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gümüşhane Spor players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
