When Doganbaba's İsmail Cem Akalın in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Adana Spor's goalie prevented a goal. After 7 played minutes Doganbaba got a freekick which was hit by Abayhan Avcıoğlu. Ali Uluberk might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zekeriya Vafi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ali Uluberk ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 13thth minute of the game İsmail Cem Akalın who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Adana Spor's Zekeriya Vafi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Adana Spor's goal looked a bit too open when Abayhan Avcıoğlu came free, but Zekeriya Vafi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 minutes, Abayhan Avcıoğlu made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Adana Spor's Zekeriya Vafi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute, İsmail Cem Akalın made a precise shot to the right of Zekeriya Vafi. Adana Spor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The supporters of Doganbaba booed when Adana Spor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Polat Apaydın didn't get a good kick on the ball. If İsmail Cem Akalın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zekeriya Vafi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Uluberk, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 44th minute, Polat Apaydın hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. İsmail Cem Akalın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zekeriya Vafi having to interfere.

The wind increased when Ali Uluberk made the kick off in the second half. Ali Uluberk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zekeriya Vafi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İsmail Cem Akalın in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Ali Uluberk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Doganbaba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, İsmail Cem Akalın managed to get in a good position for a shot. Doganbaba's supporters rose to their feet, but İsmail Cem Akalın was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zekeriya Vafi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 60 played minutes Adana Spor got a freekick which was hit by Abdulaziz Çidam. 61 minutes into the game, Ali Uluberk recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zekeriya Vafi. Ali Uluberk showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. In the 65th minute, İsmail Cem Akalın ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zekeriya Vafi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. After a rather tough play, Doganbaba's İsmail Cem Akalın got a free kick in the 69th minute. After 76 played minutes Adana Spor got a freekick which was hit by Cevat Demir. Marko Holzhäuser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cevat Demir in the 84th minute of the match. Cevat Demir's late challenge caught a Doganbaba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cevat Demir helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Doganbaba booed when Adana Spor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cevat Demir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ali Uluberk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Zekeriya Vafi made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Adana Spor's zone, İsmail Cem Akalın stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zekeriya Vafi came out of the goal and İsmail Cem Akalın tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ali Uluberk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zekeriya Vafi having to interfere.
