In the 41st minute of the match, Aygün Durak tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mansur Özmert saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aygün Durak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aygün Durak in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mansur Özmert saved Tarsus İdman Yurdu from getting behind. Aygün Durak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mansur Özmert read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Mansur Özmert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Servet Lefter in the 58th minute of play. Dinçer Beysun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Devran Özbekkan in the 63rd minute of the match. After 70 played minutes, Tarsus İdman Yurdu's Suat Baler shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dinçer Beysun came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tarsus İdman Yurdu reached it. If Devran Özbekkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Ahmet Rıfat Hünkar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Servet Lefter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Mansur Özmert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But to his dismay, Aygün Durak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Mansur Özmert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aygün Durak in the 96th minute of the match. Tarsus İdman Yurdu's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
