After some careless play in the Genc defense, Ferman Ağın kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kutlualp Ushan. The Genc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kutlualp Ushan should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tayyar Özdilek to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Atabek Coşkuner dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kutlualp Ushan, 0-4. Ferman Ağın struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Kutlualp Ushan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kestel. Ali Cafer Toktahan's late challenge caught a Kestel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Cafer Toktahan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th match minute, Genc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Cafer Toktahan to maneuver through the defense. Ferman Ağın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kestel played a much better game than Genc and deserved their victory. The Genc players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
