Tolga Otay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Hamit Ceceli in the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Yetersiz Spor's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Fikret Özarkın came free, but İsa Oyalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 21 minutes, Mustafa Hamit Ceceli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yetersiz Spor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mustafa Hamit Ceceli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Karataş Spor's Atıf Teber seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Atıf Teber the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Karataş Spor protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Atıf Teber had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Karataş Spor! Ayberk Saye shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 28th minute Saip Okseven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İsa Oyalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alp Ülmen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alp Ülmen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saip Okseven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İsa Oyalp having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Karataş Spor's goalkeeper Tolga Otay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tamer Altınpınar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Mustafa Hamit Ceceli made the kick off in the second half. Saip Okseven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. İsa Oyalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Göktan Hanönü fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İsa Oyalp having to interfere. Tolga Otay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Hamit Ceceli in the 71st minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Ahmet Fikret Özarkın was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karataş Spor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yetersiz Spor the free kick. In the 72nd match minute, Karataş Spor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Fikret Özarkın to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Şerafettin Toraman got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Yetersiz Spor's Ergin Tanbolat got a free kick in the 77th minute. Şerafettin Toraman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but İsa Oyalp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Şerafettin Toraman got free with İsa Oyalp in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 88 minutes into the match, Alp Ülmen notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Yetersiz Spor's İsa Oyalp. İsa Oyalp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Saip Okseven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Fikret Özarkın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İsa Oyalp having to interfere. Karataş Spor's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
