Arif Gaffar Temizkanoğlu came out of the goal and Alp Ülmen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saip Okseven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Arif Gaffar Temizkanoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20thth minute of the game Köksal Maksum who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Güney JK's Arif Gaffar Temizkanoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Köksal Maksum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Gaffar Temizkanoğlu having to interfere. Arif Gaffar Temizkanoğlu was a little too slow when Alp Ülmen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 28th minute, Baturay Oğuzcan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tolga Otay was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A collision led to Karataş Spor getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Ahmet Fikret Özarkın hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute of the match İnanç Kızılaslan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tolga Otay skillfully saved the ball. If Şerafettin Toraman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Güney JK's Arif Gaffar Temizkanoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Güney JK from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Köksal Maksum to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Karataş Spor's Alp Ülmen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arif Gaffar Temizkanoğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The supporters of Karataş Spor booed when Güney JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Devran Erkinay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Güney JK's Arif Gaffar Temizkanoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alp Ülmen in the 65th minute of play. Saip Okseven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karataş Spor's Şerafettin Toraman pulled a muscle in his back after 69 minutes and couldn't finish the game. İnanç Kızılaslan charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed İnanç Kızılaslan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Karataş Spor's Adil Acıbadem was substituted for Şerafettin Toraman. İnanç Kızılaslan kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. When Alp Ülmen came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Karataş Spor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alp Ülmen couldn't finish the play. Saip Okseven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute, Alp Ülmen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tolga Otay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erman Tükel, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Arif Gaffar Temizkanoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saip Okseven in the 84th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Güney JK's zone, Göktan Hanönü stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arif Gaffar Temizkanoğlu came out of the goal and Göktan Hanönü tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Güney JK's İnanç Kızılaslan got a free kick in the 86th minute. Adil Acıbadem struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Arif Gaffar Temizkanoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karataş Spor. After having played for 92 minutes, Saip Okseven managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karataş Spor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saip Okseven was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Köksal Maksum might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arif Gaffar Temizkanoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Köksal Maksum ran back to his position shaking his head. Güney JK's Arif Gaffar Temizkanoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alp Ülmen in the 95th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Güney JK's goal looked a bit too open when Saip Okseven came free, but Arif Gaffar Temizkanoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Karataş Spor players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
