Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kestel's Atabek Coşkuner started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Ahmet Fikret Özarkın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferman Ağın got free with Tolga Otay in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kestel's Behçet Olgaç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şerafettin Toraman in the 38th minute of play. Ferman Ağın received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Tolga Otay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, Kestel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tayfur Yiğithan to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alp Ülmen in the 43rd minute of play forced Kestel's goalkeeper Behçet Olgaç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karataş Spor played a much better game than Kestel and deserved their victory. The Kestel players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
