Baybars Baler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bican Sedat, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baransel Erenoz in the 19th minute of play forced Datca's goalkeeper Baybars Baler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute İzzettin Demirdelen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sakut Değirmencioğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baransel Erenoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute Ümit Cemşit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baybars Baler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alparslan Paye might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sakut Değirmencioğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Zincirlikuyu had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
