Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Zincirlikuyu's Baykam Nurdag started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Sakarya Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mahir Yorangil to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Gökmen Yetişbey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sakarya Stars's supporters rose to their feet, but Gökmen Yetişbey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sakut Değirmencioğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baykam Nurdag in the 13th minute of play forced Sakarya Stars's goalkeeper Abdulaziz Sendur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zincirlikuyu's Sakut Değirmencioğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ömer Özmert in the 17th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Sakarya Stars's goalkeeper Abdulaziz Sendur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ümit Cemşit. Baykam Nurdag sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sakarya Stars's Gökmen Yetişbey got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baransel Erenoz came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Abdulaziz Sendur could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baransel Erenoz got free with Abdulaziz Sendur in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abdulaziz Sendur acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 35th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Utkan Uygu. Enginalp Kongar's late challenge caught a Zincirlikuyu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enginalp Kongar helped the player get up and apologised. Enginalp Kongar hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Baykam Nurdag fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdulaziz Sendur having to interfere. Sakut Değirmencioğlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erol Hazar went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erol Hazar was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute Baransel Erenoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdulaziz Sendur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enginalp Kongar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Mahir Yorangil had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Baransel Erenoz charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baransel Erenoz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sakarya Stars's Bora Mübarek was substituted for Mahir Yorangil. In the 69th minute, Baransel Erenoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, Baransel Erenoz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdulaziz Sendur. Sakarya Stars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baransel Erenoz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Nazmi Öktuna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sakut Değirmencioğlu having to interfere. Sakarya Stars's Abdulaziz Sendur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baransel Erenoz in the 83rd minute of play. 2-1 became the score in the 84th minute when Baykam Nurdag elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Enginalp Kongar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abdulaziz Sendur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baransel Erenoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Zincirlikuyu could leave the field as winners, despite Sakarya Stars having more of the ball for most of the match.
