Sakut Değirmencioğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Sakut Değirmencioğlu came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Kırtay's Ali Ömer Kural. But to his dismay, Ali Ömer Kural quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The supporters of Zincirlikuyu booed when Kırtay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gökhan Serkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Baykam Nurdag managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zincirlikuyu's supporters rose to their feet, but Baykam Nurdag was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anıl Ergüden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baransel Erenoz in the 23rd minute of play forced Kırtay's goalkeeper Anıl Ergüden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Kırtay's Gökhan Serkan got a free kick in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the game, one of Kırtay:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, Zincirlikuyu's Utkan Uygu got a free kick in the 31st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aybars Akkan in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. After 46 played minutes Kırtay got a freekick which was hit by Arcan Bicanoğlu. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baykam Nurdag in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anıl Ergüden saved Kırtay from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aybars Akkan was the one to do the kick off. Sakut Değirmencioğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Ömer Kural, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Ali Ömer Kural had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Arcan Bicanoğlu had to leave the field with a concussion. A collision led to Zincirlikuyu getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Bican Sedat hit a great ball. Zincirlikuyu's Sakut Değirmencioğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Ömer Kural in the 72nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baransel Erenoz got free with Anıl Ergüden in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kırtay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Barışcan Serkut was slow to take the kick. During this time Zincirlikuyu's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Zincirlikuyu's Reşit Cihannur to fire away a dangerous shot which Anıl Ergüden despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Baransel Erenoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anıl Ergüden having to interfere. When Baykam Nurdag came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Zincirlikuyu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baykam Nurdag couldn't finish the play. Sakut Değirmencioğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Ömer Kural in the 86th minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Zincirlikuyu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ümit Cemşit to maneuver through the defense. Gencay Ümit's late challenge caught a Kırtay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gencay Ümit helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Zincirlikuyu getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Gencay Ümit hit a great ball. Kırtay's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
