But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sermet Kumukbay couldn't finish the play. Güneri Özgenc struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Mustafa Haydar Baysan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Demirköy FK. Mustafa Haydar Baysan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aykan Türemen, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Mustafa Haydar Baysan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emirşah Aköz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 minutes, Demiralp Adaş mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UrfaGücü and the Demirköy FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Demirköy FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 76th minute Burhanettin Ünsal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Haydar Baysan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Demirköy FK getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Ali Cafer Yoruk hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Demirköy FK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for UrfaGücü.
