A hard shot 4 in the game by Kahraman Ongen from a close distance when the talented Mustafa Haydar Baysan managed to make a qualified save. UrfaGücü's players were relieved. When Kahraman Ongen came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Kuntman fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kahraman Ongen couldn't finish the play. Mustafa Haydar Baysan was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Güngör Kılınç capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Güngör Kılınç really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Derya Neval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cavit Umut came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by UrfaGücü's Sermet Kumukbay. But to his dismay, Sermet Kumukbay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With a little luck, UrfaGücü's Mustafa Haydar Baysan got control of the ball when Kahraman Ongen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mustafa Haydar Baysan was a little too slow when Güvenç İlhanoğlu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 24th minute Rüştü Atasoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Haydar Baysan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sermet Kumukbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute of the match Ataol Yordam sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mustafa Haydar Baysan skillfully saved the ball. Mustafa Haydar Baysan made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Kahraman Ongen sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of UrfaGücü booed when Kuntman was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ataol Yordam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Turgut Kılıçdaroğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cavit Umut having to interfere. Mustafa Haydar Baysan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Güvenç İlhanoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mustafa Haydar Baysan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rüştü Atasoy in the 58th minute of play. Kahraman Ongen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. If Kahraman Ongen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cavit Umut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sermet Kumukbay, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute.
