Hulusi Kamil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuncay Sav having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Lüleburgaz SK's goal looked a bit too open when Yaman Özil came free, but Kaptan Uruk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferid Uğurlubay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaptan Uruk having to interfere. Tuncay Sav made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hulusi Kamil in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Lüleburgaz SK's Hulusi Kamil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tuncay Sav made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Hulusi Kamil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuncay Sav having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hulusi Kamil in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tuncay Sav saved amed from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yaman Özil in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kaptan Uruk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 48 minutes, Ferid Uğurlubay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. amed's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferid Uğurlubay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Lüleburgaz SK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cuma Savni ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led amed's Cuma Savni to fire away a dangerous shot which Kaptan Uruk despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After having played for 69 minutes, Yaman Özil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. amed's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yaman Özil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Lüleburgaz SK's Arman Kaplan got a free kick in the 70th minute. amed's Yaman Özil got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 75 minutes, Ferid Uğurlubay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. amed's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferid Uğurlubay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kaptan Uruk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferid Uğurlubay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Mesut Tolun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lüleburgaz SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mesut Tolun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tuncay Sav breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tuncay Sav showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hulusi Kamil, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 86th minute, Yaman Özil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kaptan Uruk was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Tuncay Sav made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Mesut Tolun sent off a good shot on target. Kaptan Uruk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferid Uğurlubay's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Göktuğ Bilgetürk's late challenge caught a Lüleburgaz SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Göktuğ Bilgetürk helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The amed fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lüleburgaz SK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
