If Güneri Özgenc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Galatasaray fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Muharrem Denizalp should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Galatasaray getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Seyhan Pekant hit a great ball. Emirşah Aköz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Muharrem Denizalp was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Güneri Özgenc showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 42 minute of play. Demirköy FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Güneri Özgenc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Güneri Özgenc stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Demirköy FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Güneri Özgenc to maneuver through the defense. Emirşah Aköz scored 3-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Muharrem Denizalp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Demirköy FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Seyhan Pekant charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emirşah Aköz couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Galatasaray's goalkeeper Muharrem Denizalp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emirşah Aköz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Muharrem Denizalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Muharrem Denizalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Güneri Özgenc in the 85th minute of play. Güneri Özgenc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Muharrem Denizalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Güneri Özgenc, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 98th minute Emirşah Aköz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muharrem Denizalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Demirköy FK had played much better football throughout.
