Anatolia Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aşkın Savtekin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tolunay İlksen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Argenis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Bican Bürge hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The supporters of Anatolia Fc booed when Kursunlu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doğaner Tolgay didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kursunlu's zone, Nazmi Akbilge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Asım Riva came out of the goal and Nazmi Akbilge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tolunay İlksen in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Asım Riva saved Kursunlu from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tolunay İlksen in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ali Asım Riva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tolunay İlksen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ali Asım Riva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anatolia Fc's Aşkın Savtekin got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastian Argenis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Hamza Asutay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evren Ehlimen kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. If Aşkın Savtekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anatolia Fc's Tolunay İlksen got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ali Asım Riva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tolunay İlksen went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Anatolia Fc had played much better football throughout.
