Karapinar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Batu Uluman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Batu Uluman in the 34th minute of play forced ZEYTiNBURNU's goalkeeper Krzysztof Markowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Savaşer Kongar made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Ali Atıf İlighan sent off a good shot on target. Afşin Saraçoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When ZEYTiNBURNU's Abidin Baltaş, in the 43rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for ZEYTiNBURNU.
