ATK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Özguc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Krzysztof Markowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 9 minutes into the game, Güral Sayyad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ZEYTiNBURNU's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ATK the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ali Özguc in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Krzysztof Markowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yakup Kadri Yavuzay charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Krzysztof Markowski came out of the goal and Hüseyin Turan Nadir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 31 minutes into the game, when Sezer Hürsoy put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of ATK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ZEYTiNBURNU:s goal. The goalkeeper, İdris Oğuzman, was totally fooled by ZEYTiNBURNU's Birkan Haspolatlı, who 33 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Ali Özguc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Yakup Kadri Yavuzay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Ali Özguc got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ZEYTiNBURNU fans cheered their team off the field, for while ATK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
