When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Akay Dolunay made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Hüsmen Togay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mehmet Şefik İley. soycan fan clup27's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hüsmen Togay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in SivasSpor's zone, Abdulbaki Lami stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emrah İdilkurt came out of the goal and Abdulbaki Lami tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute, Akay Dolunay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Akay Dolunay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, SivasSpor's Emrah İdilkurt got control of the ball when Abdulbaki Lami tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mehmet Şefik İley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zülfikar Aker, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Akay Dolunay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mehmet Şefik İley came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by SivasSpor's Ünal Aral. But to his dismay, Ünal Aral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The SivasSpor players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
