An unexpectedly hard shot by Sermet Pozan in the 21st minute of play forced BÖRÜ's goalkeeper Batur Yurday to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BÖRÜ's Batur Yurday proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save BÖRÜ from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 28 in the game by Cihat Özerek from a close distance when the talented Batur Yurday managed to make a qualified save. BÖRÜ's players were relieved. Acar Yenal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lokman Rasi having to interfere. Batur Yurday made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Cihat Özerek sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, GALATASARAY's Tarkan Batüralp got a free kick in the 38th minute. If Yasin Cingöz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yasin Cingöz took the ball and in the 49 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Batur Yurday. Batur Yurday dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yasin Cingöz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lokman Rasi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baysal Atabek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Batur Yurday showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yasin Cingöz in the 62nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in BÖRÜ's zone, Cihat Özerek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batur Yurday came out of the goal and Cihat Özerek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 69 minutes into the match, BÖRÜ's goal looked a bit too open when Cihat Özerek came free, but Batur Yurday reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yasin Cingöz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Batur Yurday read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Yasin Cingöz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Yasin Cingöz notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of BÖRÜ's Batur Yurday. Batur Yurday was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 78th minute Yasin Cingöz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batur Yurday saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
