İlhami Musa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lokman Rasi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. If İlhami Musa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the game, Sermet Pozan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GALATASARAY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bahce FK the free kick. After a rather tough play, GALATASARAY's Sermet Pozan got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Lokman Rasi was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and İlhami Musa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. İlhami Musa really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cihat Özerek in the 38th minute of play forced Bahce FK's goalkeeper Hadi Orhun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GALATASARAY's Lokman Rasi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save GALATASARAY from getting a goal against them. In the 40th match minute, Bahce FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Burhan Acemoğlu to maneuver through the defense. After 46 played minutes, GALATASARAY's İldeniz Uyar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hadi Orhun came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GALATASARAY reached it. Hadi Orhun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cihat Özerek in the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and İlhami Musa made a kick off. GALATASARAY's Lokman Rasi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samir Gündem in the 52nd minute of play. İlhami Musa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Ziya Onur Sevgen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bahce FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ziya Onur Sevgen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lokman Rasi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of GALATASARAY booed when Bahce FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aktuğ Erva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cihat Özerek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Hadi Orhun made a huge save. If Yasin Cingöz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, GALATASARAY's Tarkan Batüralp got a free kick in the 76th minute. İlhami Musa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bahce FK fully deserved thier win.
