Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ahmet Göktuğ Yiğitoğlu took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute Cüneyt Ayaydın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Levent Gümüşsoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Levent Gümüşsoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cüneyt Ayaydın in the 7th minute of play. After 8 played minutes Köprübasi got a freekick which was hit by Ünal Başol. Ahmet Göktuğ Yiğitoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Necip Fazıl Gümüşcü didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Recep Talha Onatkan went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 18th minute Cüneyt Ayaydın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Levent Gümüşsoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 19 minutes, Ahmet Göktuğ Yiğitoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Köprübasi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Göktuğ Yiğitoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Göktuğ Yiğitoğlu in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Necip Fazıl Gümüşcü prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cüneyt Ayaydın received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Levent Gümüşsoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Polat Hattat made a precise shot to the right of Levent Gümüşsoy. Köprübasi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Necip Fazıl Gümüşcü took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Recep Talha Onatkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Ottoman Empire's zone, Ahmet Göktuğ Yiğitoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Necip Fazıl Gümüşcü came out of the goal and Ahmet Göktuğ Yiğitoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hilmi Uralp charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hilmi Uralp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute, Ahmet Göktuğ Yiğitoğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Köprübasi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Ottoman Empire's Necip Fazıl Gümüşcü played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Recep Talha Onatkan in the 38th minute of play. Ahmet Göktuğ Yiğitoğlu took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Necip Fazıl Gümüşcü. Necip Fazıl Gümüşcü dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 45th minute Ahmet Göktuğ Yiğitoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Necip Fazıl Gümüşcü saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

56 minutes into the match, Polat Hattat notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Köprübasi's Levent Gümüşsoy. Levent Gümüşsoy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 59th minute, Sabri Ongay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Necip Fazıl Gümüşcü made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Recep Talha Onatkan sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 64 minutes, Hilmi Uralp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ottoman Empire's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hilmi Uralp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Recep Talha Onatkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Polat Hattat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Cüneyt Ayaydın ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Levent Gümüşsoy was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Cüneyt Ayaydın struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Levent Gümüşsoy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ottoman Empire. Polat Hattat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Levent Gümüşsoy having to interfere. In the 94th minute of the match Hüseyin Uygunel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Necip Fazıl Gümüşcü skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Köprübasi's zone, Cüneyt Ayaydın stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Levent Gümüşsoy came out of the goal and Cüneyt Ayaydın tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
