It was beautiful to see GALATASARAY's Efe Piruz in action when he in the 13th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 17thth minute of the game Yasin Cingöz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mudurnu's Bekir Yorangil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Yasin Cingöz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GALATASARAY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yasin Cingöz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bekir Yorangil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yasin Cingöz in the 30th minute of the match. GALATASARAY's Cihat Özerek got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ragıp İğdemir hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Lokman Rasi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alişan Batırhan in the 42nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Kutlualp Usbay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mudurnu's supporters rose to their feet, but Kutlualp Usbay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lokman Rasi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yasin Cingöz made a kick off. With a little luck, Mudurnu's Bekir Yorangil got control of the ball when Cihat Özerek tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alişan Batırhan's late challenge caught a GALATASARAY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alişan Batırhan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th match minute, Mudurnu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alişan Batırhan to maneuver through the defense. When Kutlualp Usbay came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Mudurnu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kutlualp Usbay couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, GALATASARAY's Yasin Cingöz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bekir Yorangil. Bekir Yorangil yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. If Cihat Özerek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Mudurnu booed when GALATASARAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cihat Özerek didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goal looked a bit too open when Alişan Batırhan came free, but Lokman Rasi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cihat Özerek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tarkan Batüralp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bekir Yorangil having to interfere. Lokman Rasi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alişan Batırhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Bekir Yorangil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cihat Özerek in the 95th minute. GALATASARAY's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
