In the 6th minute, Tayyar Tekgül ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Recep Tayyip Gültekin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erhun Sağanalp in the 10th minute of play forced Altınsaray SK's goalkeeper Recep Tayyip Gültekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11thth minute of the game Rıfkı Seylab who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Darende's Talat Fırat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rıfkı Seylab in the 23rd minute of play forced Darende's goalkeeper Talat Fırat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mücahit Özdoruk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Talat Fırat made a huge save. Rıfkı Seylab might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Talat Fırat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rıfkı Seylab ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 34th match minute, Altınsaray SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolga Direm to maneuver through the defense. Mücahit Özdoruk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Talat Fırat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mücahit Özdoruk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Talat Fırat having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Adem Okyar hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Recep Tayyip Gültekin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tayyar Tekgül in the 59th minute. After 63 minutes of play, Altınsaray SK's Rıfkı Seylab made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Talat Fırat was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adem Okyar charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adem Okyar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd minute, Erhun Sağanalp reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Recep Tayyip Gültekin. The goal made the score 2-3. Tayyar Tekgül sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Recep Tayyip Gültekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melih Esentürk in the 78th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Mücahit Özdoruk made a precise shot to the right of Talat Fırat. Darende's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. If Tayyar Tekgül had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the game, Melih Esentürk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Darende's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Altınsaray SK the free kick. In the 88th minute, Melih Esentürk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mücahit Özdoruk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 100th minute Rıfkı Seylab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Talat Fırat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Altınsaray SK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Darende had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
