In the 30th minute, Atak Cihangir fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Saip Güleryüz, passed just outside the right post. Seyhan Özonder hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Atak Cihangir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Atak Cihangir who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Saip Güleryüz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Baysal Abay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 played minutes Pazaryolu FK got a freekick which was hit by Baysal Sena. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baysal Abay to strike the kick off in the second half. Atabek Ungan hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After 57 played minutes Hârizmşah got a freekick which was hit by Tümer İlighan. Nurtekin Hadi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaffar Kutlucan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 played minutes Hârizmşah got a freekick which was hit by Recep Türkşen. Seyhan Özonder was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Pazaryolu FK's Seyhan Özonder got a free kick in the 81st minute. Hârizmşah's Baysal Abay got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Pazaryolu FK defense, Baysal Abay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saip Güleryüz. The Pazaryolu FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saip Güleryüz should have stopped the shot. Atak Cihangir might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saip Güleryüz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Atak Cihangir ran back to his position shaking his head. Pazaryolu FK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
