After a defensive mix-up in Altınsaray SK's zone, Mazhar Sarduç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Recep Tayyip Gültekin came out of the goal and Mazhar Sarduç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Seyhan Özonder fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pazaryolu FK's protests and gave Seyhan Özonder a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes Pazaryolu FK got a freekick which was hit by Seyhan Özonder. Mücahit Özdoruk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saip Güleryüz having to interfere. Altınsaray SK's Recep Tayyip Gültekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaffar Kutlucan in the 12th minute of play. Saip Güleryüz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rıfkı Seylab went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaffar Kutlucan in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Recep Tayyip Gültekin saved Altınsaray SK from getting behind. Altınsaray SK's Recep Tayyip Gültekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaffar Kutlucan in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Altınsaray SK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. After 91 minutes, Aras Secaattin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Altınsaray SK and the Pazaryolu FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Altınsaray SK! Altınsaray SK's Rıfkı Seylab managed to work through Pazaryolu FK's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Rıfkı Seylab dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pazaryolu FK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Altınsaray SK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
