Spectators: 6684 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Suphi Karahan started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Dursun Ali Özdamar fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Şenol Cezri, passed just outside the right post. Ersin Nevzat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Suphi Karahan in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Pasabahce FK's goal looked a bit too open when Suphi Karahan came free, but Ersin Nevzat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ersin Nevzat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Suphi Karahan in the 13th minute of the match. Özen Çiltay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute Suphi Karahan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ersin Nevzat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Necmi Şahin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ersin Nevzat having to interfere. The FENERBAHÇE fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when FENERBAHÇE's Suphi Karahan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A beautiful save bye Pasabahce FK's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erhan Kavaş to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Suphi Karahan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th minute, Pasabahce FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Suphi Karahan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ersin Nevzat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Suphi Karahan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th match minute, Pasabahce FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asım Arif Ulutaş to maneuver through the defense. After 57 played minutes FENERBAHÇE got a freekick which was hit by Buğra Duman. When Dursun Ali Özdamar came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Pasabahce FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dursun Ali Özdamar couldn't finish the play. Necmi Şahin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Necmi Şahin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pasabahce FK's Ersin Nevzat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Necmi Şahin in the 94th minute of play. If Necmi Şahin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded FENERBAHÇE left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pasabahce FK.
