The Giza fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Giza's Yahya Taner looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Yahya Taner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Seyfi Sanak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Afşar Savtuna's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 21st minute Utku Çelikhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şansal Hürsev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bilal Atlıoğlu during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Giza's Bilal Atlıoğlu got a free kick in the 27th minute. Seyfi Sanak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beyhan Sulasi in the 28th minute of the match. A collision led to Giza getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Bilal Atlıoğlu hit a great ball. Afşar Savtuna hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Berkay Sebih, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Utku Çelikhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beyhan Sulasi in the 36th minute of play forced Giza's goalkeeper Seyfi Sanak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Utku Çelikhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Şansal Hürsev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yahya Taner had several of the Mavi Şimşek's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 40 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Şansal Hürsev as he didn't even see the shot coming. Mavi Şimşek's Şansal Hürsev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Mavi Şimşek from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 47 in the game by Yahya Taner from a close distance when the talented Şansal Hürsev managed to make a qualified save. Mavi Şimşek's players were relieved. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beyhan Sulasi to make the kick off. Yahya Taner scored 3-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Şansal Hürsev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute, Afşar Savtuna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 played minutes Giza got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Bahadıroğlu. In the 72nd play minute Beyhan Sulasi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Seyfi Sanak. 3-1. When Beyhan Sulasi came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Mavi Şimşek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beyhan Sulasi couldn't finish the play. 79 minutes into the match, Mavi Şimşek's Beyhan Sulasi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Seyfi Sanak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Utku Çelikhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şansal Hürsev having to interfere. Şansal Hürsev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Utku Çelikhan in the 91st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Beyhan Sulasi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mavi Şimşek's supporters rose to their feet, but Beyhan Sulasi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Seyfi Sanak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mavi Şimşek's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
