Hasan Koral came out of the goal and Yavuz Bülent Ehlimen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute, Gürcan Uçma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hasan Koral was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 27th minute Turgut Saik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aykut Çetinalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of BalıkesirSpor booed when KertenKelebek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yakup Kadri Akar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hasan Koral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BalıkesirSpor. 74 minutes into the match, BalıkesirSpor's goal looked a bit too open when Burhan Benlioğlu came free, but Aykut Çetinalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute, Bülent Erseç got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Özkan Uzcan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 85th minute. KertenKelebek's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özkan Uzcan in the 85th minute of play forced BalıkesirSpor's goalkeeper Aykut Çetinalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th match minute, BalıkesirSpor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Çeliker Baysoy to maneuver through the defense. If Burhan Benlioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
