Aykut Çetinalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Talip Şanalp in the 7th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Hacı Demirkan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elmadag JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Hacı Demirkan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aykut Çetinalp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 11th minute, Bozkurt Tuğser got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Bozkurt Tuğser notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of BalıkesirSpor's Aykut Çetinalp. Aykut Çetinalp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Elmadag JK's Bahtiyar Remiz got control of the ball when Bülent Erseç tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, BalıkesirSpor's Bülent Erseç sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bahtiyar Remiz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Çeliker Baysoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, BalıkesirSpor's goal looked a bit too open when Faruk Hasankeyf came free, but Aykut Çetinalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Bülent Erseç got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Yavuz Bülent Ehlimen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aykut Çetinalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Talip Şanalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bülent Erseç was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gürcan Uçma in the 52nd minute of play forced Elmadag JK's goalkeeper Bahtiyar Remiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Elmadag JK's Talip Şanalp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aykut Çetinalp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 54th match minute, BalıkesirSpor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Bucuklu to maneuver through the defense. Aykut Çetinalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bozkurt Tuğser, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. When Çeliker Baysoy fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BalıkesirSpor's protests and gave Çeliker Baysoy a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Elmadag JK booed when BalıkesirSpor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çeliker Baysoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aykut Çetinalp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Talip Şanalp in the 66th minute. Bahtiyar Remiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gürcan Uçma in the 67th minute of the match. Bahtiyar Remiz came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by BalıkesirSpor's Gürcan Uçma. But to his dismay, Gürcan Uçma quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Aykut Çetinalp was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Faruk Hasankeyf capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Faruk Hasankeyf really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Hacı Demirkan scored 1-4 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aykut Çetinalp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Talip Şanalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mustafa Bucuklu hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Faruk Hasankeyf scored 1-5 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aykut Çetinalp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bülent Erseç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Elmadag JK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than BalıkesirSpor throughout the match.
