A collision led to Dargecit getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Hasan Ali Tolgan hit a great ball. If Derya Melik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, Fahrettin Çelikoz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fahrettin Çelikoz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Baransel Ekincioğlu made a huge save. Fahrettin Çelikoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baransel Ekincioğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derya Melik, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Erbaa SK's goal looked a bit too open when Çağrı Eronat came free, but Ali Behzat Çoğa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Çağrı Eronat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Dargecit's zone, Derya Melik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baransel Ekincioğlu came out of the goal and Derya Melik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 53 minutes into the match, Erbaa SK's goalkeeper Ali Behzat Çoğa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ercan Tanfer. Hafız İçten charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hafız İçten the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd match minute, Dargecit was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hafız İçten to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fahrettin Çelikoz in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baransel Ekincioğlu saved Dargecit from getting behind. In the 69th minute, Fahrettin Çelikoz made a precise shot to the right of Baransel Ekincioğlu. Dargecit's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 72nd match minute, Erbaa SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gencalp Berin to maneuver through the defense. If Çağrı Eronat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erbaa SK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
