Dargecit's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Abdurrahim Terzi scored to the left of an out of position Baransel Ekincioğlu, making the score, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yusuf Ziya Karay during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Young Boys fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Dargecit. Alperen Nesip stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hasan Ali Radi. 1-1. In the 17th minute, Tolga Akbaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dargecit's Baransel Ekincioğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdurrahim Terzi in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Dargecit's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gencal Tayfur fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Young Boys's Hasan Ali Radi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ercan Tanfer in the 27th minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Hasan Ali Tolgan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dargecit's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Young Boys the free kick. A collision led to Dargecit getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Hasan Ali Tolgan hit a great ball. Young Boys's Gencal Tayfur got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th minute Abdurrahim Terzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baransel Ekincioğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 minutes, Süleyman Urgun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dargecit and the Young Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Young Boys booed when Dargecit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Süleyman Urgun didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 played minutes Dargecit got a freekick which was hit by Sungurhan Parsbay. Gökcan Ortunc, 44 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.

Ceyhan Albayrak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baransel Ekincioğlu having to make a save. Gencal Tayfur struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Baransel Ekincioğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Young Boys. 68 minutes into the match, Young Boys's goalkeeper Hasan Ali Radi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ercan Tanfer. In the 70th minute, Acar Zoral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gencal Tayfur came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Young Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gencal Tayfur couldn't finish the play. Abdurrahim Terzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdurrahim Terzi scored 3-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baransel Ekincioğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ercan Tanfer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hasan Ali Radi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Young Boys's Abdurrahim Terzi got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 92 minutes, Abdurrahim Terzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Young Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdurrahim Terzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ercan Tanfer came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Dargecit fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ercan Tanfer couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Young Boys fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dargecit had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
