The tension between the Young Boys and the Savur players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ceyhan Albayrak hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, Savur's Atabey İnceman broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Savur's Alperen Atay got a free kick in the 15th minute. Saffet Rehber charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saffet Rehber the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hasan Ali Radi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Suat İbiş's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Gencal Tayfur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berkem Ispartalı having to interfere. Alperen Atay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute Suat İbiş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hasan Ali Radi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Gencal Tayfur recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Berkem Ispartalı. Gencal Tayfur showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Savur's Berkem Ispartalı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdurrahim Terzi in the 44th minute of play. Gencal Tayfur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abdurrahim Terzi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Berkem Ispartalı stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdurrahim Terzi's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Gencal Tayfur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Suat İbiş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Abdurrahim Terzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Berkem Ispartalı was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Berkem Ispartalı came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Young Boys's Gencal Tayfur. But to his dismay, Gencal Tayfur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Yakut Sebih hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. When Young Boys's Abdurrahim Terzi in 69 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Berkem Ispartalı guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. If Abdurrahim Terzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Gencal Tayfur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Berkem Ispartalı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gencal Tayfur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Alperen Atay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Savur fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atilla Ersavaş during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 84 played minutes Savur got a freekick which was hit by Atilla Ersavaş. The audience thought a goal was coming when Suat İbiş got free with Hasan Ali Radi in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
