Sirkeci's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erberk Cinel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Besim Yağızer came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Sirkeci fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Besim Yağızer couldn't finish the play. Ogün Songur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Besim Yağızer in the 14th minute of the match. Erberk Cinel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Erdem İlbaşı having to interfere. Uğurcan Bekata kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haşim Saylan in the 22nd minute of play forced Sirkeci's goalkeeper Ali Erdem İlbaşı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sirkeci's Uğurcan Bekata got a free kick in the 25th minute. Erberk Cinel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Ali Erdem İlbaşı made a huge save. Bircan Erşahan kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. If Haşim Saylan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ceyhun Bozkaya to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Hüseyin Cahit Onur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sirkeci's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Menderes the free kick. In the 53rd minute, Hüseyin Cahit Onur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 54 played minutes, Menderes's Cevat Tuz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ali Erdem İlbaşı came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Menderes reached it. The audience was convinced that Haşim Saylan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ali Erdem İlbaşı was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 57th minute Ceyhun Bozkaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ogün Songur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haşim Saylan scored 2-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ali Erdem İlbaşı, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
