The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Denizlispor FK's goalkeeper Serkan Sina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Müjdat Ahad. AKPINAR SK's Rahman Alpsoy got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Rahman Alpsoy came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the AKPINAR SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rahman Alpsoy couldn't finish the play. 16 minutes into the game, AKPINAR SK's Mümtaz Cingöz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Serkan Sina made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rahman Alpsoy in the 20th minute of play forced Denizlispor FK's goalkeeper Serkan Sina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Denizlispor FK getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Tuna Azimoğlu hit a great ball. Serkan Sina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rahman Alpsoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serkan Sina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rahman Alpsoy's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Mümtaz Cingöz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Serkan Sina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rahman Alpsoy in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Serkan Sina, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 39th match minute, Denizlispor FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tuna Azimoğlu to maneuver through the defense. The tension between the Denizlispor FK and the AKPINAR SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. 44 minutes into the game, one of Denizlispor FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tuna Azimoğlu was the one to do the kick off. Mümtaz Cingöz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serkan Sina having to make a save. The AKPINAR SK fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when AKPINAR SK's Rahman Alpsoy looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 60 minutes into the game, Mümtaz Cingöz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Serkan Sina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mümtaz Cingöz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serkan Sina having to interfere. Denizlispor FK's Serkan Sina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rahman Alpsoy in the 66th minute of play. Denizlispor FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AKPINAR SK the free kick. Serkan Sina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mümtaz Cingöz in the 76th minute of the match.
