Karagümrük JK's Necaettin Umut got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Necaettin Umut made a precise shot to the right of Mustafa Ali Saik. KiRMEZINO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When KiRMEZINO's Hüsnü Sarphan in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Karagümrük JK's Akif Balkar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hüsnü Sarphan in the 39th minute of play. Karagümrük JK's Akif Balkar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Karagümrük JK from getting a goal against them. When Kutlualp Değirmenci came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the KiRMEZINO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kutlualp Değirmenci couldn't finish the play.

Mustafa Oğuz Baybars took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Akif Balkar. Karagümrük JK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kutlualp Değirmenci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akif Balkar having to interfere. If Hüsnü Sarphan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karagümrük JK's Akif Balkar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hüsnü Sarphan in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Necaettin Umut left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Karagümrük JK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 80th minute, Karagümrük JK's Namık Kemal Özkent ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mustafa Ali Saik. Mustafa Ali Saik yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. 85 minutes into the match, KiRMEZINO's Kutlualp Değirmenci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Akif Balkar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When İshak Unsur fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KiRMEZINO's protests and gave İshak Unsur a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to KiRMEZINO getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. İshak Unsur hit a great ball. After some careless play in the KiRMEZINO defense, Necaettin Umut kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mustafa Ali Saik. The KiRMEZINO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mustafa Ali Saik should have stopped the shot. Cevher Sayhan hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Karagümrük JK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
