The Boyabat fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beşir Kaan should have stopped the shot. 21 minutes into the game, Oğuz Tomurcuk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Oğuzcan Sanal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Konyaspor JK getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Mazhar Huzur hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the game, Boyabat's Tarkan Esay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oğuzcan Sanal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 34th minute, Tarkan Esay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tarkan Esay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nurtekin Sufi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oğuzcan Sanal having to interfere. Boyabat's Nurtekin Sufi got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nurtekin Sufi might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oğuzcan Sanal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nurtekin Sufi ran back to his position shaking his head. When Tan Konuralp fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Konyaspor JK's protests and gave Tan Konuralp a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Boyabat booed when Konyaspor JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tan Konuralp didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Nurtekin Sufi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oğuzcan Sanal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. When Nurtekin Sufi came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Boyabat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nurtekin Sufi couldn't finish the play. Boyabat's Oğuz Tomurcuk got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gökalp Tanbay charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gökalp Tanbay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th match minute, Konyaspor JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gökalp Tanbay to maneuver through the defense. If Tarkan Esay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nurtekin Sufi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oğuzcan Sanal made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Nurtekin Sufi sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Nurtekin Sufi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boyabat's supporters rose to their feet, but Nurtekin Sufi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oğuzcan Sanal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
