Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sarper Tomurcuk made the kick off which started today's match. Tasköprü's Peker Erdönmez got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baki Acaröz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 8 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the game, one of Aksarayspor:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Vefa Ferhat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aksarayspor's Vefa Ferhat pulled a muscle in his leg after 15 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 15 minutes, Mehmet Oğuz Özakay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tasköprü and the Aksarayspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Savaşer Bozdağ recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peker Erdönmez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halit Fahri Ayçetin having to interfere. Aksarayspor's Halit Fahri Ayçetin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rauf Özveri in the 23rd minute of play. Halit Fahri Ayçetin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rauf Özveri's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. A collision led to Tasköprü getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Peker Erdönmez hit a great ball. In the 29th minute Rauf Özveri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halit Fahri Ayçetin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doğuş Kuvvet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yakup Kadri Pektaşi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Peker Erdönmez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Halit Fahri Ayçetin was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Rauf Özveri capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rauf Özveri really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0.

The wind increased when Rauf Özveri made the kick off in the second half. When Peker Erdönmez came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Tasköprü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peker Erdönmez couldn't finish the play. In the 54th minute Rauf Özveri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halit Fahri Ayçetin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tasköprü's Peker Erdönmez got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Tasköprü's Rauf Özveri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Halit Fahri Ayçetin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peker Erdönmez struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Halit Fahri Ayçetin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tasköprü. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rauf Özveri in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Halit Fahri Ayçetin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peker Erdönmez in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Halit Fahri Ayçetin saved Aksarayspor from getting behind. Rauf Özveri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Halit Fahri Ayçetin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Peker Erdönmez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Halit Fahri Ayçetin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peker Erdönmez in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Halit Fahri Ayçetin saved Aksarayspor from getting behind. Aksarayspor's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
