Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ali Ömer Cilasun started the match with the kick off. Aktuğ Ekinci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Ender Hatemoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Derbent SK defense, Kuzey Özkan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sezai Kumanbay. The Derbent SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sezai Kumanbay should have stopped the shot. Sezai Kumanbay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şener Akçakoca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Derbent SK's Sezai Kumanbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kuzey Özkan in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Mustafa Cumhur Yağızkurt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmet İlhan Kotuzhan hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Sezai Kumanbay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şener Akçakoca in the 22nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Güneş Vahapoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Derbent SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Güneş Vahapoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ender Hatemoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bahtiyar Nazmi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Ender Hatemoğlu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 28th minute, Şener Akçakoca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galatasaray F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Ender Hatemoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cenk Özmert, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 41 played minutes Galatasaray F.C got a freekick which was hit by Berker Sağun. Derbent SK's Güneş Vahapoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 46 minutes, Güneş Vahapoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Derbent SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Güneş Vahapoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bahtiyar Nazmi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 47th playminute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cenk Özmert was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Derbent SK getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Arif Ensar Onural hit a great ball. In the 59th minute of the match İsmail Hakkı Haliç sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sezai Kumanbay skillfully saved the ball. Sezai Kumanbay came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Galatasaray F.C's Ali Ömer Cilasun. But to his dismay, Ali Ömer Cilasun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After having played for 64 minutes, Bahtiyar Nazmi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Derbent SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bahtiyar Nazmi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galatasaray F.C's goalkeeper Ender Hatemoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ender Hatemoğlu came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Derbent SK's Cenk Özmert. But to his dismay, Cenk Özmert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aktuğ Ekinci in the 70th minute of play forced Galatasaray F.C's goalkeeper Ender Hatemoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aktuğ Ekinci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Derbent SK's Sezai Kumanbay got control of the ball when Kuzey Özkan tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Bahtiyar Nazmi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Aktuğ Ekinci put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Ender Hatemoğlu. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 4-3 when Bahtiyar Nazmi sped through Galatasaray F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ender Hatemoğlu. A collision led to Galatasaray F.C getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Özalp Ermiye hit a great ball. Aktuğ Ekinci struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Ender Hatemoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Derbent SK. Derbent SK's Sezai Kumanbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Ömer Cilasun in the 95th minute of play. Cenk Özmert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Derbent SK fully deserved thier win.
