Tavsanli JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kanarya SK the free kick. The supporters of Kanarya SK booed when Tavsanli JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kadri Şölen didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Danış Mansız in the 10th minute of play forced Tavsanli JK's goalkeeper Akil Tarık to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olgun Önder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Yaser Önen made a huge save. Ahmet Danış Mansız sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olgun Önder's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Yaser Önen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Kanarya SK's Yaser Önen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Kanarya SK from getting a goal against them. Ali Emir Uluberk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tavsanli JK's zone, Ahmet Danış Mansız stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Akil Tarık came out of the goal and Ahmet Danış Mansız tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute of the game, Mehmet Emin Babür landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Yaser Önen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Emir Uluberk, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Yaser Önen made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Olgun Önder sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 82 played minutes Kanarya SK got a freekick which was hit by Kartal Şemsi. After a rather tough play, Kanarya SK's Ender Resulhan got a free kick in the 85th minute. After having played for 91 minutes, Olgun Önder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tavsanli JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olgun Önder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Akil Tarık came out of the goal and Ahmet Danış Mansız tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Tavsanli JK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
