Sezai Kumanbay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hayrullah Nurkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After a rather tough play, Derbent SK's Güneş Vahapoğlu got a free kick in the 6th minute. Arif Ensar Onural lost his temper 7 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Hayrullah Nurkan took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Sezai Kumanbay to make any attempt to save it. If Hayrullah Nurkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Bahtiyar Nazmi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eyüp Şennur was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Derbent SK's Bahtiyar Nazmi got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Derbent SK's Sezai Kumanbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hayrullah Nurkan in the 33rd minute of play. Sezai Tüzel succeeded in the game's 34th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Derbent SK's Bahtiyar Nazmi got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sezai Tüzel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute Hayrullah Nurkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sezai Kumanbay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The supporters of Derbent SK booed when BARTIN FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeki Şahbaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Güneş Vahapoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Derbent SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Güneş Vahapoğlu couldn't finish the play. Güneş Vahapoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Derbent SK's Sezai Kumanbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hayrullah Nurkan in the 63rd minute of play. Güneş Vahapoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Eyüp Şennur made a huge save. In the 85th minute, Güneş Vahapoğlu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eyüp Şennur, passed just outside the right post. Güneş Vahapoğlu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eyüp Şennur came out and tried to block the shot, but Güneş Vahapoğlu slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 85th minute. In the 90th minute Ferit Zağanos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eyüp Şennur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, BARTIN FC's Hayrullah Nurkan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sezai Kumanbay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. A collision led to Derbent SK getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Ahmet İlhan Kotuzhan hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. BARTIN FC had won after a very even match.
