Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ahmet Danış Mansız took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Derbent SK getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ahmet İlhan Kotuzhan hit a great ball. In the 12th match minute, Kanarya SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kartal Şemsi to maneuver through the defense. Yaser Önen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cenk Özmert, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 19 played minutes Derbent SK got a freekick which was hit by Cenk Özmert. Yaser Önen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cenk Özmert in the 21st minute of play. Yaser Önen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cenk Özmert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 played minutes Kanarya SK got a freekick which was hit by Kartal Şemsi. In the 28th minute, Bahtiyar Nazmi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Derbent SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Yaser Önen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Güneş Vahapoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Cenk Özmert kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When Bahtiyar Nazmi came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Derbent SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bahtiyar Nazmi couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cenk Özmert made a kick off. Bahtiyar Nazmi took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yaser Önen. Yaser Önen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 60th minute Cenk Özmert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yaser Önen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Kanarya SK's Ender Resulhan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ender Resulhan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kanarya SK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ender Resulhan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kanarya SK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for Derbent SK. Cenk Özmert stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Yaser Önen. 0-4. Bahtiyar Nazmi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Yaser Önen made a huge save. İlkan Sara scored 1-4 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sezai Kumanbay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 92 minutes in the game Erdal Erdemli did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Bahtiyar Nazmi. Yaser Önen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Güneş Vahapoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Kanarya SK's Yaser Önen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cenk Özmert in the 98th minute of play. When the match was over Derbent SK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kanarya SK throughout the match.
