The crowd rose to their feet as Tavsanli JK's Ali Emir Uluberk slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sezai Kumanbay. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. Olgun Önder received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sezai Kumanbay came out and tried to block the shot, but Olgun Önder slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 7th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Güneş Vahapoğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Akil Tarık was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bahtiyar Nazmi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Emir Uluberk in the 22nd minute of play forced Derbent SK's goalkeeper Sezai Kumanbay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Tavsanli JK's Olgun Önder nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sezai Kumanbay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 33rd minute, Ahmet İlhan Kotuzhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mehmet Emin Babür struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Sezai Kumanbay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tavsanli JK. Sezai Kumanbay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Emir Uluberk in the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Ali Emir Uluberk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sezai Kumanbay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th match minute, Derbent SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Güneş Vahapoğlu to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Olgun Önder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sezai Kumanbay was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cenk Özmert made a kick off. A collision led to Derbent SK getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Taner Akçasu hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Tavsanli JK's Olgun Önder got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 57 minutes into the game, Aktuğ Ekinci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Derbent SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tavsanli JK the free kick. In the 58th minute, Aktuğ Ekinci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Derbent SK's Sezai Kumanbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olgun Önder in the 59th minute of play. Sezai Kumanbay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Emir Uluberk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Aktuğ Ekinci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sezai Kumanbay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olgun Önder in the 65th minute of play. Akil Tarık made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cenk Özmert in the 68th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olgun Önder in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sezai Kumanbay saved Derbent SK from getting behind. In the 71st minute Ali Emir Uluberk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sezai Kumanbay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sezai Kumanbay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Emir Uluberk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olgun Önder scored 5-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sezai Kumanbay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 81 minutes into the match, Tavsanli JK's Olgun Önder sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sezai Kumanbay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sezai Kumanbay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samet Sezgen in the 82nd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Derbent SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Emir Uluberk came free, but Sezai Kumanbay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tavsanli JK's Samet Sezgen got a free kick in the 87th minute. After 89 minutes Tavsanli JK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cenk Özmert who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Derbent SK's corner Arif Ensar Onural fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Akil Tarık quite easily take care of the ball. Tavsanli JK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
