Sezai Tüzel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 13th minute Hayrullah Nurkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ender Hatemoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sezai Tüzel struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Ender Hatemoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BARTIN FC. In the 18th minute, Hayrullah Nurkan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hayrullah Nurkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ender Hatemoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the BARTIN FC defense, Ali Ömer Cilasun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eyüp Şennur. The BARTIN FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eyüp Şennur should have stopped the shot. After having played for 31 minutes, Şener Akçakoca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galatasaray F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şener Akçakoca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Recep Tayyip Vargın hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ender Hatemoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hayrullah Nurkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ali Ömer Cilasun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of BARTIN FC booed when Galatasaray F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Merih Özmen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eyüp Şennur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şener Akçakoca in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Şener Akçakoca notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of BARTIN FC's Eyüp Şennur. Eyüp Şennur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Galatasaray F.C fans cheered their team off the field, for while BARTIN FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
