Spectators: 7357 (Terracing: 5519, Seating: 1692, VIP seats: 146) Asrın Gökyüzü started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kanarya SK's goalkeeper Yaser Önen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asrın Gökyüzü in the 5th minute of play forced Kanarya SK's goalkeeper Yaser Önen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kanarya SK's İlkan Sara managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Suphi Coşkunsu in the 11 minute of the game. 15 minutes into the game, Kartal Şemsi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kanarya SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PLATON the free kick. After 15 played minutes Kanarya SK got a freekick which was hit by Kartal Şemsi. Kanarya SK's Yaser Önen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asrın Gökyüzü in the 18th minute of play. İlkan Sara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yenal Kutalmış having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet Danış Mansız made a kick off. In the 55th minute Asrın Gökyüzü shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yaser Önen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yaser Önen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asrın Gökyüzü in the 58th minute of the match. Kanarya SK's Yaser Önen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Selmi Üçer in the 65th minute of play. Selmi Üçer scored 1-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yaser Önen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 80 minutes into the match, PLATON's goalkeeper Yenal Kutalmış had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Danış Mansız. Ahmet Danış Mansız hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. A collision led to PLATON getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ahmet Ömür Pakkan hit a great ball. Yaser Önen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asrın Gökyüzü, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Kanarya SK's Ahmet Danış Mansız got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 96th match minute, PLATON was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yavuz Selim Tüzmen to maneuver through the defense. PLATON's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
